A year-round program and event series where Turkish talents collaborate to tackle real-world challenges. The Lab offers themed workshops, networking events, mentorship, and research opportunities—culminating in a sponsored pitch event for new social innovations.

A competitive, cohort-based accelerator for early-stage startups and spinoffs. Participants receive expert mentorship, tailored training, investor introductions, and support for international growth. The program is designed to help ventures become investment-ready and scale their impact.

Burçe Dündar Öztürk
Co-founder, Executive Director, Bold Futures
With a legal background and over 27 years of expertise in migration and international development, Burçe is a bridge-builder who transforms challenges into opportunities. She has led large-scale, high-budget, and technically complex programmes for the EU and UN, currently manages projects in the biotech field, always with a focus on social impact. An inspiring professional, Burçe is known for her collaborations with governments, international organizations, and NGOs.
Gonca Kara Demir
Co-founder, R&I and Growth Programmes
With over 15 years of experience in EU funding, innovation, and research commercialization, Gonca is a strategist who turns ideas into scalable, impact-driven ventures. She has led multi-country innovation, acceleration programs across climate, education, ICT, maritime, and now deeptech—helping startups and researchers bringing their solutions to market.Currently the Head of Projects and Ecosystems at Acceler8, Malta’s top-ranking EU funding champion, Gonca has helped mobilize over €10 million in public funding for ventures that drive sustainability, inclusion, and technological progress.
Fersun Akyüz Önen
Co-founder, Commercial Strategy Lead, Bold Futures
With over 20 years of experience in shipping, logistics, and international business, Fersun leads Bold Future Global’s commercial strategy. She helps diaspora innovators access funding, scale ventures, and drive impact — turning brain drain into brain gain.
Dr. Dalım Dündar Yavuz
Turkey Office Lead
A seasoned talent hunter and innovation leader with over 25 years of experience spanning R&D, technical sales, and business development in the healthcare, defense, and personal protection sectors. As a rocket scientist and patent holder, she brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and commercial acumen to the BFG team. Dalım is renowned for her ability to identify top Turkish talent, guide them through every stage of their journey, and ensure they are fully supported from first contact to long-term success. Her academic background and hands-on leadership in both technical and sales management make her an invaluable bridge between Turkish innovators and global opportunities.
